Biography

I was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1982. It took me more than two decades to discover photography. Since then it’s an integral part of my life.

The camera and the artistic possibilities it renders, fascinated me from the very first day. I consumed every photography book I found on the library. Spent countless hours on the internet. All of this to increase my technical knowledge with that remarkable tool – the camera. Even if today the focus shifted from the tool to artistic techniques and concepts, I keep researching and discussing with fellow photographers, always trying to improve myself. I know I always will.

Today I am a freelance photographer and moviemaker. I am also a climber and I find it natural that I focus on action and outdoors photography. Passionate as I am about nature, life and their beauty, I seek environments that expose me to these factors, forming a sequence of truly remarkable moments that fill me with immense energy and joy. These are the moments that I love to capture. Many of my photos are the result of long, patient and sometimes frustrating waiting just for the right light and perfect circumstances. But as long as I have a really good cup of coffee in my hand, I happily spend the day enjoying the moment.

I am based in Gothenburg on the Swedish west coast but I’m available for assignments all over the world. My typical subjects are climbing, lifestyle, landscape and portraits.
